Dreamcatcher
I would drink you ‘til I drown
It seems I've no control in this.
I tried to master my own world so I would never hurt again
But in severe sterility I let robots and demons win
And though we may makes jokes and grin
That we are monsters and machines
I know that you are flesh and blood that aches for touch the same as me.
I think that when we speak your heart fluttered like mine and weavers sang and tied our
fates together till we made one humming golden string
And if that means I needs must bleed then I suppose I will bleed dry
If the alternative is simply to give up or never try
No one made living look so good and yet the sky is heavy black
The gold behind it tempts me but I know it is a flagrant trap
Though unintended, it would tie me, hollow hope, that Golden thread
would trap me by my fragile wrists and bruising throat and leave me dead
The same way dreams
Get tangled up in blessed sinew wound round hoops
So, God, if you want good for me, which I desperately hope you do
Leave me not hanging here half promised; half betrothed and the rest cursed
Torn between twice cracked existence
Daydreams rich in empty hearth.
