Homo Saevus
Sapiens is always filthy
We're efficient
We're corrupt
We can root out greener pastures
We will crush them into dust
we will fortify our towers
We will drink with fearsome lust
From the gentle valley rivers
From the oceans, black and rough.
Sapiens named for sagacity
But by hunger
Fear, and pride
We seek to shred our opposition
We carve weapons with our minds
We will use our clever nature
We will shut our hearts to cries
From the tender and the innocent
And boldly call it wise
